My first Wine & Design in a few years
I did a wooden pallet






Not so bad !!  I have NO artistic talent ..I am afraid to doodle or draw a straight line ..

Wooden Snowman, LARGE SNOWMAN

This is a VERY large SNOWMAN  he is 6 foot tall
Decide to make my mom a surprise christmas present
First we bought wood from lowes
3/4 X 20 X 72  Solid wood Panel

We drew the snowman out on the wood then we cut him out
We bought White exterior paint at lowes to paint him


We also cut out the two brim's for the hat  -- as well as two pair of boots for the front and the Back ..we painted those parts black and the hat on the snowman
I also used some blue to Shade the sides of the snowman

we   I got eyes at Hobby Lobby painted black and added white
 got at H
obby Lobby painted black and added white

Nose --Painted nose Burnt orange --






Snowflake  ---Americana painted Primary RED , purchased at Joanne's






Got this little flower and circle at Michael's ..painted flower pink and circle white




cut lattice for Arms ..and painted Nutmeg Brown



Meet Charlie !!!


We updated Charlie a wee bit this year ..He broke his arms ..so he got new arms and a new flower color

Again --found a Pinned snowman on pinterest and got someone to cut him out for me

painted on eyes===used tooth pick to paint dots in eyes

used end of paint brush and pencil earser to Dot Mouth black

used smaller brush end to white dot mouth

used Brad nailer to attach ..brim , nose,

used lipstick on finger to blush cheeks boots

use fabric to make a scarf ...

  --i cut the scarf out ...edges were kind of frayed ..so i hot glued the length edge to give it a finished look

also took a pick of evergreen and cut 2 branches and hot glued on

Wooden Reindeer, Rudolph

I got inspiration from a pin on pinterest !!

Thank you so much for your idea

Very simple wooden Reindeer made from a 1 x 4   cut 19 inches
cut board  painted esspresso  sanded
Cut out antlers painted white , sanded ..stained  5 1/2 inches long
cut out a oval nose ..painted red and sanded  2 1/2 inches tall
used a Brad nailer , filled holes with a little paint

painted white of  eyes ...black eyes
Walla ---done

Painted Rock Snowman

My First attempt at a painted rock ...My mind goes to a snowman ...first one I painted was a snowman face

Painted rock all white --then painted hat a metallic blue 

painted face  --I use Dot tool or back of paint brush to Dot Eyes

I also use the same method to paint the nose ...I drag the back of brush with paint on it to create the CARROT nose .

The pom pom is attached  with a hot glue gun

The brim of the hat I use Glitter snow ..Right now I am using a Q-Tip so add the snow for the brim

I found this on pinterest --had to make one

Nothing much more than 2 squares and a circle

Painted Red and white --painted carrot nose orange --Then sanded

Wooden Owl

Found this Wooden Owl on pinterest , decided to try it


first I created a pattern to cut out on wood

Also cut out the eyes   -- beak and star

 

Painted winter blue 

then Stained 

added burlap scarf  and moss to the star
